Yahoo Mindset

Yahoo has been in the shadows recently, despite in my mind, historically a far superior service to provide, compared to Google.

The way Google is marketing itself is clever, without a doubt, yet personalisation, maps and localisation has been done for years on Yahoo. Reminds of the boo.com crash and other stories where a service/product was created before the market demanded it.

Yahoo Mindset provides a tool that is useful on many counts.

For the average user searching for research sake, finding the information based on shopping vs research results, then its fantastic. Whether the average user would want to tweak their results is another matter.

From a SEO point of view, you may of created a website, but it is view more toward the shopping end of the result. Now you know how Yahoo views your site, you are able to tweak to the desired result.
