As a company offering search engine marketing in the Bristol area, we often think about the amount of money wasted by local small businesses on ineffective advertising.

You might wonder what connection I am making between website copywriting and advertising. Well, why does any business publish online content?

  • You need to attract attention and make people aware of the benefits of doing business with you;

Think about it, the advertising you are best able to tolerate is often witty and entertaining, but it doesn’t persuade you to do anything. In contrast, even comparatively dry content that provides beneficial information has more promotional value than most fashionable television adverts.

So what if you make that “dry” content a bit theatrical? This is where skillful copywriting can reach more people who need the information and at the same time exponentially enhance the return on a relatively small investment.
