Bloggers freedom reports pseudo freedom
Whichever statistical software you use, whichever server you use, whichever search engine techniques and methodology you practice - it doesn’t hide that fact that everything we do is down to freedom of choice
This was highlighted with the release of the yearly report from the French organisation ‘Reporters of Freedom’ regarding freedom of bloggers within each nation. Each nation is given a ranking, and its increase or decrease from previous years is shown.
It seems that the European Union member countries hold a strong footing, as many of the nations are within the top 30. Many African nations also share the top 30, yet their internet footprint is less vast than many of the smaller countries.
The list may be of interest to newbie blackhat SEO’s when deciding which countries to avoid spamming with? political information, of which is highly unlikely, yet the tactics of politics is either democratic, or to the other polar extreme, could encourage such all-out manoeuvres in the future.
Concerning to many SEO’s who left pastures green (namely China and Russia) for the gold rush with cheap labour and exponential internet user growth, is that those countries continue to minimise blogger freedom. Play safe.
