What inspires you?
Certain pieces of music stir my emotions. Beautiful landscapes and being in an atmospheric location. Participating in an animated spiritual discourse or discussion.
Where do you believe the internet will take us in 5 years time?
In everyone’s lounge and fully integrated with lifestyles.
What makes your job so interesting?
Each day is unpredictable and the unknown is stimulating as are the challenges of being my own boss. Meeting people from diverse backgrounds is very rewarding.
What particular skills and qualities do you bring to Phil Yarrow Consulting?
I am enthusiastic, well-organised and have demonstrated leadership capability in a number of roles and also the ability to work as part of a team. I am methodical and consistently deliver appropriate advice. I am particularly good at gaining customer buy-in to solutions and am self-motivated, hardworking, eager to learn and to take on new challenges.
What are you passions in life?
I love listening to a wide variety of music and playing guitar, keyboard and blues harp when possible. I also enjoy watching an electrifying live musical performance. Good food with a well-matched wine or a decent pint of real ale, particularly in the right surroundings and with the right people. I love travelling to interesting places, particularly by rail and on foot.
What additional skills have you acquired?
I have gained considerable general management experience throughout my career. My various roles have improved my communication, project management, planning, interpersonal and customer service skills.
